Len Gallant was born in Maine and moved to Worcester, Massachusetts, at an early age. Both he and Hugh were high school classmates and Len also served in World War 2 in the US Navy. He graduated from the School of Practical Arts in Boston, (now called the Art Institute of Boston). His first job as a staff artist in an advertising agency was short-lived as he was recalled to active duty during the Korean War. On returning to civilian life he worked for several agencies and New Hampshire's major Newspaper, as a graphic artist. Some of his outside interests have been Amateur Radio and flying, having earned his private pilot's license. Len and his wife live in New Hampshire near their 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
